WHO WE ARE
Black in Place is a curatorial and consulting practice centered on honoring Black and Indigenous heritage and amplifying BIPOC artistry. Rooted in the belief that creative expression is both an act of resistance and a pathway to healing, Black in Place creates spaces for reconnection, reflection, and unbridled creativity.
Through curated exhibitions, accessible workshops, and strategic consulting, we support artists, creative entrepreneurs, and art organizations in exploring their narratives with depth and authenticity while building sustainable practices.
By combating cultural erasure and centering the stories of marginalized creators, Black in Place works to make BIPOC presence, contributions, and visions undeniably evident—reshaping the creative landscape where artists and communities can grow and thrive together.
